Harvard Medical School/University.?

A few questions about Harvard, Hope you can help me out!

1.)Does Harvard have it’s own hospital?
(If so, is it the kind of Hospital that only challenging cases go to, as in the show ‘House’?)
2.)How much is Harvard University, And Medical school?
3.)Do they have practices to be Pathologists/Immunologist?
4.)What does you HS GPA have to be to attend Harvard Medical school/University?

Thanks:)

1. It doesn’t have it’s own hospital, but it is affiliated with many in Boston.
House’s job doesn’t actually exist – no one does nothing but diagnosing. And hospitals, even teaching hospitals, take everyone, not just people who have weird problems.

2. $60,880 a year. http://hms.harvard.edu/admissions/default.asp?page=costs That’s tuition and fees.

3. Yes, it’s a PhD program. http://www.hms.harvard.edu/dms/immunology/

4. They don’t take students out of high school. You need a 4-year college degree to apply to any medical school. You don’t have to get that degree from Harvard to get into Harvard for med school.

5. For your undergrad degree, Harvard turns down thousands of 4.0 students, perfect SAT scorers, and valedictorians every year. Having great grades is necessary, but they don’t need to be perfect and that alone won’t get you in.
