Do a partial water change, and add either a new filter that has carbon in it, or add some carbon another way to remove the meds.

Those two should be no problem for you. Some do not mix well and you would need to check for each combination seperately. Be sure you take the carbon out of your filter while you treat or it will remove the medicine too quickly. Also, read carefully as some medicines delete the oxygen in the tank and you will need to add a little extra circulation (like an air stone) while you treat.

It depends on what you are using. Typically Mardel products can be used together. You should do some Internet research on the product you are using and try to find out that way, or ask a reputable pet store what they would recommend. I would find someone who specializes in aquariums instead of petsmart or petco type stores.

If you did happen to use the Mardel, I would do a 50% water change and start treating with the other meds.

I have had an aquarium for a number of years now, but am by no means a professional so please contact a reputable aquarium shop and ask for assistance.

Read the directions on both bottles. Some ich medicines cannot be used in combination with other medicines for up to two weeks. If it is salt water, turn your skimmer on high. This will disburse the ich medicine in the tank. You can do a water change to help aleviate the medicine. Really, read the directions since there are so many different kinds.

I'd wait a few weeks and do a couple of 25% water changes in the meantime. The reason I recommend this is because some fish medications can play havoc with your water parameters. Your pH and KH can get out of control. Another alternative is to set up a smaller "hospital" tank for your suffering fish to treat him in and then move him back into your regular aquarium.

I have tried it b4, it may work for some, but defenitely not for some others, cos' if two chemicals mix, they might cos an even worser problem...

Depends on the ingredients. Some react badly with others. What did you use for treating ick? I'd change out at least 50% of the water.
