The federal government should be able to interfere with state laws because it is the central government. The government of the states.
In my opinion medicinal marijuana should most defiantly be legalized. It is far less harmful and addictive than other legal and over the counter drugs.

I believe the term medical marijuana is used instead of just saying marijuana because if they legalize it, it would be for illnesses alone. Much like any other perscription. It is illegal for you to get these drugs without a perscription from your doctor. I believe they are useing the term simply to point out it wouldn’t be legal for your average joe to be sitting on the corner smoking it like one would a cigerate.
