It has been a long journey but a worthwhile one.
This surgery was life changing, and life is only getting better. If you have any questions about lap band or wls that I may be able to answer please feel free to check out my vids or message me.

i just cried- you two are such a wonderful example of what this WLS journey can be. It is tool- and lifestyle shift– it is a miracle opportunity- but not one in itself. So many rush in, and don’t make the internal changes. Thanks for this excellent video.

I think both of you are amazing and I think your journey is amazing! I am so happy for you and am so excited my journey has started.

  8. I too have followed …
I too have followed the journey of A.J & Rebecca, Everyone in the WLS community were almost as excited as them, on the birth of they’re precious little miracle. I had R&Y Gastric Bypass on 9-15-2008 and have so far lost 90 lbs. I have also never had one regret, except I wish I had done it sooner.
WLS may not be for everyone, but it sure has saved everyone’s life who have chosen this wonderful option. Don’t ever believe anyone who claims,”It’s the easy way to lose weight” It’s a smart option!

  9. My family and I …
My family and I love to watch the progress of this family. I had Gastric Bypass on 7-24-08 and have lost 110 lbs. My husband had Gastric Bypass, also, on 12-18-08 and has lost over 150 lbs and is still losing. Our health has dramatically changed, mainly we no longer have to constantly battle asthma. We are able to do much more with our children and friends. We are extremely grateful for the surgery.

  10. I have gained so …
I have gained so much after getting the Lap Band 8 months ago. I gained a new amazing life, support group, friends on You Tube….that I cant wait to see in a few weeks, healthier life, a healthier family and a future I now look forward to. What an amazing journey ! I wear my scars with pride !

  12. I love this …
I love this family’s story of success! My husband and I had R&Y surgery on December 16, 2008…both of us, the same day! This has been a wonderful journey for us. We have ZERO regrets. Our physical and emotional changes are too many to list. This is the best thing we’ve ever done for ourselves and the ones we love. My husband has lost 145lbs and I’ve lost exactly 100lbs as of this week. Pre op, I couldn’t walk up one flight of stairs without pain, today, I am training to RUN a 5K!
