( the unholy trinity of ) Too many students*, teachers who hate( are escaping from ) patients, PBLs( that wretched & slow process which drives away clinicians).Bring the CLINICIANS BACK INTO MED SCHOOLS ( by using YouTube Medical School).*Even the Med Schools admit this-There is a crisis facing medical schools in Australia and elsewhere.Not enough patients. Not enough clinics or hospitals in which students can do their clinical training.The number of students will double from 2002 to 2,012 to 2,950 ( qt Bruce Robinson, Dean, Sydney Med School in Radius 2 June 2009, p18).

It is necessary to properly plan the training of med strudents, NOT just increase the intakes, med schools are hugely expensive and require alot of organization.I am still very much involved in the process which I enjoy.
We have a shortage …
We have a shortage of Doctors in Canada and the US. Too many doctors may be more of a blessing than a crisis. I know people from Canada going to Australia to study medicine because they can’t get in here (in Canada). Canada needs to open up more seats to fix our shortage of doctors and decrease the number of students leaving to study in Australia. That would solve both our problems!!
