    He was not really generalizing. He was just trying to make a point or an illustration or an analogy of well-differentiated and poorly differentiated cells. It is true some of the time that gangs who go in the neighborhood usually behave badly or at least give that impression to evoke fear in people. You have to remember, this is a lecture on cancer and it’s just to drive a point across. Besides, well differentiated cancer is still cancer, well-dressed people can also behave badly-stealthily.

    I did not agree with nor appreciate the generalization of normal morphology implies normal function to people. It is not necessary that someone of lower socioeconomic class and thus dressing in a certain way, will be more likely to rob a bank than someone dressed in a suit. I think our current economic crisis caused by “well-dressed” people is the perfect example!
